Work Comp Health Providers
Worker’s compensation health care providers play an important role in keeping our workers healthy. When an employee gets injured or needs care there are often delays in obtaining approvals for medication. Physician Partner can help eliminate the approval process by enabling work comp health care providers to dispense medications directly to their patients through our managed programs whereby we handle the claims and billing processes there by allowing the doctor to focus on providing the care.
Some of the Work Comp health care providers that we work with include:
- Occupational Medicine
- Orthopaedic
- Pain Management
- Psychiatry
First Responders
When a biological emergency occurs, it is critical for your First Response team to have immediate access to medications to ensure their health and the safety of others. Since the CDC will not be contacted until Federal and Local authorities agree the SNS is needed, and because the CDC has specifically stated, “The SNS is not a first response tool,” city, county, and state agencies must make the necessary preparations to ensure these medications are readily available at all times. With the help of Physician Partner First Response Program you can assure the immediate treatment for your First Responders is available when a catastrophe occurs.
340B
The 340B Drug Pricing Program resulted from enactment of Public Law 102-585, the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992, which is codified as Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act. Section 340B limits the cost of covered outpatient drugs to certain federal grantees, federally-qualified health center look-alikes and qualified hospitals. The purpose of the 340B Program is to enable these entities to stretch scarce federal resources, reaching more eligible patients and providing more comprehensive services.
Physician Partner is committed to offering cost effective prepackaged medications to 340B clinics and enable them to reduce the handling and dispensing costs associated with managing their bulk pharmaceutical products.
